35 Sqn Veterans visit XM655

Aircrews from 35 Sqn who were stationed in Akroteri, Cyprus from 1970 to 1973, and who have remained in contact ever since, visited XM655 on Sunday July 15th.

The distictive 'Vulcan smell' brought back many memories for them as they showed family and friends what a very uncomfortable working environment a Vulcan could be

Some of the crews had actually flown XM655 during their years in the RAF, and had been busy checking their log books to find the relevant entries
