22/07/2012 IET Visit to XM655

We had a large visit from The Institution of Engineering and Technology Gloucestershire Network on Sunday, so large that it was necessary to split the visit into morning and afternoon sessions

One of the visitors had travelled all the way up from Devon for the day!

The visitors also took the opportunity to visit the Wellesbourne Wartime Museum and the Airport Café

All the visitors were very interested in the Vulcan, and amazed at the technology for its era

One of our visitors sent the following comment: "My son and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with the volunteers who clearly had so much enthusiasm and dedicated so much of their lives to the project."
