26/01/2013 West Midlands Spice Group Visit

On Saturday 26th. of January 17 members of the Spice Group braved the weather forecast and arrived at Wellesbourne to find a sunny and dry day for their visit (which makes a welcome change for this winter!) for our first group visit of the New Year.

Our visitors were able to witness a full systems demonstration (despite one of the PFC motors currently undergoing maintenance) and were able to see the powered flying controls, air-brakes, external lighting and the bomb doors all operating.

Following the systems demonstration the group split into smaller groups of 4 each plus a 655 volunteer which were then treated to cockpit tour of the aircraft.
