Our regular pilot, Wg Cdr Mike Pollitt (RAF retired), came along to run the cockpit tours for the cadets, giving them an insight into what it was like to fly the Vulcan in service.

Amongst the Civilian Instructors were an ex-Valiant fitter and an one who had worked on Valiants, Vulcan B1, B1a and B2.

As well as a cockpit visit, and being shown around the aircraft and ground equipment by the volunteers, the cadets were also shown round a Cessna from the South Warwickshire Flying School and the Wellesbourne Air Traffic Control Tower.
