655MaPS Members’ Day at Wellesbourne today was a great success. The November weather was quite kind to us, chilly but much brighter than had been forecast. The aircraft performed flawlessly on the two systems demonstrations for our regular crew of Anne-Marie Walduck and Isi Jackson. Special thanks to our two guest speakers, Bill Ramsey and Alastair Montgomery (Monty), who coped superbly with a cold marquee, a very packed schedule and the usual airfield problem of assorted background noise. Thanks are also due to our regular aircrew of Mike Pollitt, John Laycock and Barry Masefield, to Tony Blackman, who joined us to autograph books for our members, and to MOrganisation, who closed the event in classic fashion.
