A busy day at Wellesbourne today started with trouble-shooting the electrical problems which plagued us last week.
After much studying of electrical diagrams and measuring of voltages, the fault was tracked down to a contactor in one of the panels in the nose wheel bay. Installation of a replacement was followed by a faultless systems demonstration ~ job done !!
We also fixed the brakes on the Palouste trolley, charged the cockpit nitrogen system, and pulled our second hydraulic bomb hoist unit out of deep storage and loaded it for delivery to its new home. Watch this space for more details later.
