A very busy day at a very sunny (if still a little chilly and windy) Wellesbourne yesterday. We welcomed a large group of Vulcan fans to 655 in the morning for one of our guided tours around the aircraft, talking to them about the ground equipment, engineering currently being undertaken, the history of 655, the role of the Vulcan from drawing board to the Falklands (and beyond) and finishing with a warming drink in the shop.
Thank you to all that attended, we hope you had a wonderful day with us at 655, and hope to see you all again soon.
We continued with the installation of the AAPU and checking all aircraft fuses. Thanks to Isi, James and Anne-Marie for the pictures.
