Being the first Saturday of the month, our scheduled ground equipment runs were carried out, all successfully.
The gasket making carried on with gaskets being made for the re-installation of the starboard fuel tank equipment and panels.
Our visiting Cadets were working on the aircraft jacks, cleaning and stripping them of old paint and rough surfaces ready for refurbishing and also sanding the lower starboard elevon surfaces.
The hydraulic rig was connected to the aircraft to allow a thorough nosewheel steering test to be carried out. This enable some small adjustments to be made to the travel of the nosewheel.
We were also very lucky to have had a lovely Sea Fury land at the airfield and were treated to a couple of flypasts.
