Lots of activity at our Members’ Day at Wellesbourne today.

We had a large group of visitors to XM655 at Wellesbourne from the Meriden Branch of the Triumph Owners Motor Cycle Club today,
A quiet day at Wellesbourne today with just a few casual visitors. We put fuel on board ready for the up-coming Members’ Day.
A large party of our friends from the Bugatti Owners Club visited today, and we also had lots of casual visitors.

A visit to XM655 at Wellesbourne by the Classic Corvette Club UK occupied our volunteers this morning, and was mostly completed before the rain began, but the closing photoshoot of the cars in front of the Vulcan was rather a soggy affair.

An afternoon visit from the Northamptonshire Industrial Archaeology Group, and lots of casual visitors in the morning, kept our volunteers busy today.

A most unusual day at Wellesbourne today. An empty pan, the aircraft out enjoying the sunshine, sleeping volunteers, aircrew doing manual work, and even a rare sighting of a lesser-spotted AEO in unique yellow plumage.

After the bustle of last Saturday, it was a much quieter day at Wellesbourne today with no booked parties of visitors and a number of our volunteers away for various reasons.

Today was probably our busiest day ever on the XM655 pan at Wellesbourne. We hosted around forty members of the BSA Gold Star Owners Club with lots of their gorgeous machines, followed by members of the Usk Valley Classic Car Club with some beautiful Morgans, and finally the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Members’ Working Group, who had been holding a meeting at the airfield.
