A damp but not too chilly day at Wellesbourne today for a second visit by the Rover 75 & MG ZT Club.

A very busy day at Wellesbourne today. An early start saw us preparing the aircraft, connecting the tug and loading all the support equipment ready for a trip across the airfield as soon as the tower opened at 0900.

A chilly start to the day at Wellesbourne today. The morning visit was our friends from the Spice Group, and unfortunately our attempt to give them a systems demonstration showed up a number of electrical failures.

Another busy day for the volunteers at Wellesbourne today. Lots of maintenance work going on and plenty of casual visitors to keep us on our toes.

We’re not entirely sure how it happened, but at long last the weather managed to stay dry all day today for a large visit by members of the National Association of Retired Firefighters.

More ghastly weather for our visitors (and volunteers) to endure at Wellesbourne today, but it didn’t seem to put them off. We had a booked party from the Shakespeare Scoobys, plus lots of smaller groups and casual visitors.

Our main visitors today were a group from the Hampshire Morris Owners Club together with their vehicles, but we also had visits by a small group who won an XM655 Experience in a charity raffle, a group of members who were combining it with a flight in the AN2, and quite a lot of casual visitors.
