Saturday was a busy day with work continuing on the Sentinel, removal of one of the port undercarriage doors for refurbishment and cleaning and being able to test the number one fuel tank and pumps by transferring a small amount of fuel to check for leaks.
After identifying the relevant fuses in panels 27P, 58P and 3P that had been removed whilst the tank work was undertaken, these were replaced. This then enabled testing of the pumps and the transfer of a small amount of fuel. A couple of small leaks were identified around the piping but nothing severe and the gaskets that were made appear to have done the job well.
A number of casual visitors also kept us busy during the day.
We also made sure to re-gas the cockpit entrance door.
