An extra update from us this weekend as our volunteers didn’t have a Sunday lie in… Instead, we were busy at the pan prepping the aircraft for some wet and dry cycles on the engines.

This was to enable us to check that the re-installation of the number 2 engine had been successful and to “blow away the cobwebs” from the remaining engines.

A lovely sunny day was a great setting to these activities and we are pleased to report that no major issues were encountered (apart from overheating of the volunteers maybe!!)
